Fruit Chaos Ride was one chapter of the ongoing series of autonomous posters using random (as if anything ever is) word and images. Me and Amber van den Eeden made this series of poster, for a one day exhibition at Penny University in Amsterdam. For a few weeks, Amber would send me titles, or loose words, coming from a stream of conscious like approach. I would do the same on my end, collecting and altering images, and pair it with the titles I would get. There was never a clear goal, no formulated problem to solve, except ending up with a number of posters we felt deserved to exist. After 500 titles, going over 19000 images, and ending up with 86 finished posters, we selected 12 and went to Kees Maas in Amsterdam who silk screen printed them. Some on A1 and some on A0. Current subjects and esthetics naturally found it's way into the end result. You really should buy AT LEAST one A0 "People As Islands". I know I would.
